“Robert Overweg sees the computergame as a direct expansion of his surroundings and steps into these worlds with his virtual camera ready to shoot. He acts the same as a regular photographer walking in a normal landscape. Within several existing games he looks around and seeks corners, details and situations which he captures and shows to the public The work of Overweg is not just about the border between real and virtual but also asks interesting questions about copyright. Overweg claims a creative choice in a world which he sees as his own, while these worlds originate from the creativity of others.“
