The design brief of BLEND and absolute Vodka was to create a image of an absolute (read: utopian world). I made two proposals of which the first one was used in Absolut's campaign.
I don't believe one can achieve an utopian world but to gain joy out of the simple and beautiful things in life like a rainbow is plausible. That is why I chose to build a rainbow generator. When strolling through the park this little device will give people passing by a brief moment of joy.
My second proposal didn't make the cut. Whom else is a better impersonation of the utopian world most of us wanted to live in than Bernie Madoff?. |
